Riding Instruction
Holly Hill Farm specializes in hunt seat equitation and jumping. Our focus is to develop our riders in a safe, friendly, and fun atmosphere on quality horses and ponies. Holly Hill’s head coach, Robbie MacIntyre is a certified coach with many years experience in providing superior equine services. We teach our lessons in small groups on well-trained horses with riders matched in age and level.
Lessons
Lessons run year-round with the winter lessons taking place in our indoor arena. Private lessons are booked upon request. Students should allow for enough time to groom their horse and clean their tack after each lesson.
Summer Riding Camp
Holly Hill Farm is offering a summer day camp for your little horse lover. Children between the ages of 6 and 14 can learn to ride and care for a horse in a safe and professional environment. We have experienced and safety conscious camp counselors. We rent ASTM approved riding helmets to the campers if they do not have their own.
This is a unique farm experience for your children. The campers will have a riding lesson and grooming session every morning. They will also learn about feeding, tacking up, and properly caring for equipment. Other fun activities include crafts, scavenger hunts, swimming, and games on horseback. No riding experience necessary.
Activities begin at 9am and end at 4.30pm. All campers must bring boots with a heel, lunch, a snack, a swimsuit, and a change of clothes. Our lounge provides a place to relax and cool off. There are couches, tables, a fridge, and a microwave for the campers use.

Riding School Activities and Opportunities
We run small in-house competitions on a regular basis for our riders in the Holly Hill school program. When riders reach a certain level we offer the opportunity to part-lease a horse or pony from us. This gives the rider a chance to build on their riding skills and to learn more about how to care for their horse. Summer camps and all-day clinics are a couple of other activities that go on at Holly Hill. It is always possible to trailer your horse in to us on a weekly basis for lessons.
